Spousal PR Fingerprints Request

Hi All,
My husband received a request from CIC for my fingerprints for our PR Application.
These are now submitted, has anyone got any idea how long until we will receive an answer.
Has anyone got a timeline of there experience? Or any other hiccups they have come across?
(I don't have a criminal record)

Did CIC specifically ask for fingerprints, or do you mean that you had to send your prints off to a law enforcement agency (such as the FBI, if you're from The U.S.) to get a PCC letter to then forward to CIC?
