Spousal outside Canada through Buffalo. File set aside for closer look.

Hi,

I had applied for sponsorship for my spouse. Our application was returned once because of a missing signature and again for incorrect photo type.

It was resent back and I am being told that it is being set aside for somebody ''to take a closer look at it''. The person I spoke to was very vague. What does that mean? Is it good or bad? Or just because there has been some back and forth with the application.

Any insights are greatly appreciated.

Who told you someone would take a closer look at it? Someone at Mississauga? Or someone at the visa office? If it was Mississauga then I think all they mean is they will look at it to check if everything is correct this time, and not put it in the queue.
