Hi,

Is it OK to send the application without the medical as it has an expiry date? The time to land may be inconveniently short if the medical is done up front; or medical may have to be repeated.

Is it possible to do the medical later when they request it? If it is acceptable to CIC...

Yes, it is OK. You will be requested to undergo medicals by CIC in a later stage.
