Spousal open work permit NEED help

hi! Can someone give me advice regarding my situation here in canada..
i came here last year under spousal open work permit, so my work permits validity is the same as my partners work permits validity..4 months after we got separated because of third party
my partner said that he will not gonna renew my work permit when he renew his own work permit and if he will apply for PR he will not also accompany me under his application.
my open work permit will expire next year.. what would be the best thing that i need to do to stay here without his control or not to be under his work permit? can i apply for a close work permit from open work? since my current employer is willing to give me an LMO would there be no conflict if i apply for a close work permit?

Yes you can apply for a new closed work permit as long as there is an LMO. It would be better cause then you would have no ties to his papers but have your own.

Make sure you have a positive LMO, and preferably a job offer of a skilled position.

@ marsiangal and yagerr thanks ... yes my employer right now is working to get a positive LMO and willing to give me a job offer because they know my situation.. i dont know if housekeeping or f&b server in hotel is a skilled position.. whats important to me right now is to have my own papers. things are so complicated right now although i still have a 1 year valid open work permit...
