Hello,
I got married on 14th September 2020 and my wife traveled to Canada on 25th September 2020. We know each other since last 8 years. I have all the pictures and chats to prove our relationship. But we stayed together for only 10 days after marriage. Will it be problem for visa approval?

How much time have you actually spent together in person?
We have not stayed together at the same place before marriage.
It’s just we live in a same city and know each other since last 8 years and we are in a relationship since last 6 years.

Please help me with the best solution.
Thanks in Advance :)

You have some red flags for sure. Do you have other proofs like financial support? Why did your wife leave after only 10 days? What are your ages, background, religions? Who was present at the wedding?

I have received money from her father’s account. I don’t know if that will work or not. And her tickets were already booked of 25th September. It was both the families who were confused to do the marriage because of COVID. But finally we decided to get married in the end moment I.e 14th September. My age 26 her age 25. She used to work and I used to work and handle my family business too. We both are Hindu. She is Tamilian & I’m Marwadi. 12-13 people were present in our weeding because of COVID we decided not to invite much people.

What is her status in Canada? Has she updated her marriage status? What kind of visa are you currently applying for?

She is on student visa. No marriage status is not yet updated, we don’t know how to do that. I’m planning for Spousal Open Work Permit. I guess this is the only visa option I have.
