Spousal immigration from india

Hello,I am a canadian pr and just got married.I am living in india with my spouse since january and have a return in july but i wanted to apply under the spousal category.I have so many misleading answers as to if i can apply for the sponsorship from india or if i need to be physically present in canada to send the application package.Please help.

You must be in Canada throughout the entire sponsorship process. A few short visits outside are OK but anything more is a risk.

You can’t sponsor someone if you are a permanent resident living outside Canada

Return back to canada and then apply for spousal sponsorship. You cannot apply for spousal sponsorship if you are a PR only and are living outside Canada.
I would strongly advise you to not even try anything before landing back in canada since i have seen people's applications being rejected straight off in such cases
