We have applied for an Spousal Visa with an open work permit with all the documents.
My wife's(She is in India and am working in Canada with a PG work permit) visit visa was rejected last time saying she didnt show any ties with her home country.
Now we applied for Spousal Visa with an open work permit and it has been 11 working days since we applied and the status says its "in process".
Anyone knows how long it takes for it to process and why it could be taking so much time.

1.Leave Approval Letter From Employer
2.Form 16 (2011-12 Financial Year)
3.Salary Slips(Last 6 months)
4. Scanned copy of Fixed Deposit Receipt
5. Statement from bank that wife is holding an Savings Bank Account in their bank since last 6 years and that i hold a Fixed Deposit in their bank.
6. Last 6 months bank transaction statement of my salary account
7.Property_OWNERSHIP_Property Number ONE
8.Property_OWNERSHIP_Property Number TWO
9.Employment Letter from my Employer
10.Marriage Certificate
11.Medical Receipt
12.Visa Refusal Letter
13.Photograph with Family during our marriage
14.Husband's Lease agreement and letter from Landlord
15.Copy of Income Tax Returns from the past 2 years
