hello

just i have one friend he ask

when he applied for immigration he was married but the problem he didnt full that he is married now he got his visa and he landed to canada now what he can do to apply for sponsoring her wife and his daugther

now he want to know what he can do just for information he is from morroco

Did he declare that he was married and had a child on his PR application?

If he did not declare his wife and daughter when he landed as a PR in Canada, his wife and daughter are not eligible to be sponsored. Like, not ever.

he did not declare his wife and daughter when he landed as a PR in Canada that the problem if have idea tell me pls i need to know at soon as possible

thanks a lot

There is nothing he can do. This was a HUGE omission. It is misrepresentation, and I believe he could even have his PR revoked.

He will NOT be able to sponsor his wife and daughter for permanent residency in Canada.

A person applying for a PR visa has to declare his spouse and children on the application. He has to declare them when he lands in Canada. If he didn't, he can not sponsor them later.

CIC takes this very seriously. Why didn't he mention them on his application in the first place? And why didn't he declare them when he landed? (It doesn't really matter what reason he had, though; they cannot be sponsored by him.)
