Hi I’m sponsoring my husband and he has 3 daughters from his deceased wife. Is it possible that I will sponsor him first and his daughters will follow later? If I will include his 3 daughters in the application are they coming together with him? upon approval of their visa? Thanks!

Do the children qualify as dependents? What ages? If under 18, who has legal custody?
Generally, all dependents who do not immigrate at the same time as the principal applicant will still need to be listed in the application but will be described as non-accompanying. All dependents would need to have a background check and medical exam taken even if they are not accompanying. This is the only way that they could be sponsored at a later date. If the dependants are under 18, there are additional steps required.
