Hello,
I moved to Toronto July 2012 from Sweden, I got married and then sent my application in Aug 2012 and the application started being processed February 2013.
I have now waited a year to get my ''landed immigrant'' status and to get a PR card. I'm going nuts, can't work, study or go visit my family in Sweden. (We are worried I might have problems when returning to Canada.) Did anyone have issues with that? I'm still on my tourist visa.

Hej på dig min kära landsman :D

We waited 436 days for AIP :o And is just starting wait number 2 in stage 2. Crazy!!!!!

When we had waited 6 months for the AIP, we got a letter from CIC. Excited we thought it was the AIP, BUT it was all of a sudden a document request. They wanted the court documents from Sweden, that showed proof of my divorce back in 1994.....even though my birth cert (personbevis) clearly stated everything about my old divorce. But that wasn't good enough. Anyway.....we fulfilled their wishes and sent it all in.....and for some reason it seams like we had to start over in the waiting game. That's why we had to wait 436 days for an AIP.

When we finally got the decision, they decided that I had to re do the medical, since to much time had passed. Grrrrrrr!!!!! And there is where we are now.....my husband and I. Im going for a new medical in the beginning of Oct. So our case has taken and is taking forever. But I'm lucky....I have my income anyway. I have early retirement from Sweden. (sjukersättning) Other vise I have no clue how we would have made it for this long. So I fully understand your feelings.

Where are you guys in the process?
