Hi All
I am a canadian working in Saudi Arabia . My Wife is an Indian Citizen working in Saudi as a lead teacher in american school. I have two kids who are canadian citizens

My wife has not been to Canada ever since and have not applied for her immigration until now. I want to know if taking her to canada on a visit visa is ok and once i am ready to move back i shall apply for her immigration or shall i directly apply for her immigration ?????

If you only intend to visit Canada for a short period and then return to Saudi then it is fine for you to apply for a visit visa for her.

If you intend to make this a long term stay, then you may apply for a visit visa to allow her to come with you and also apply for her PR sponsorship at the same time.

But applying PR from Outside canada takes ages , dont you think its a good idea to apply for her PR from inside Canada ??

It takes roughly 24 months for an Inland sponsorship package these days. Outland applications are definitely moving faster.
