Sponsorship question

Good Evening Forum,

I have a quick question regarding the spousal sponsorship. When applying for this there are two section the sponsorship part and then the permanent residency application and then last the Quebec forms for our case. My question is this for Quebec applications should the Quebec section of the application be accepted prior to completing the permanent residency application. I ask because in the permanent residency application they ask if we have received our certificate from the CSQ and they ask if not when did you apply. So, should i be applying for the CSQ prior to the permanent residency but this is where it confuses me because i thought the sponsor application along with the permanent residency app. should be sent together at the same, one more note the Quebec application can only be reviewed once sponsorship application has been accepted so whats going on ???............. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

The sponsorship ap and the permanent resident's application are submitted together. Once the sponsor is found eligible, the Case Processing Centre will send the CSQ application to the sponsor to be filled out. Once you submit that and it's approved, they begin the assessment of the permanent resident applicant. It adds 6-8 weeks to the process.

Just for clarification and thank you for your post by the way, so in Generic section for permanent residency app they ask have you apllied for the csq what would i put just no and when they ask when did you apply what do i put just leave it blank ????

Leave it blank, they know spousal sponsors won't have that until after initial processing at CPC-M.
