Hi everyone!

I would just like to asked some question regarding sponsorship especially to those without representative.

My husband applied for sponsor and says it started processing last February 23. How would he know that he is approved and does it really take long to have result or approval? Because i have seen some post of the others and usually it only took a month.

Normally, they will email updates but you can check here -> https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do
Depending on the visa office, it can be from a few months to well over a year.

Thanks. I was just worried and all. I did checked that site always. His sponsorship application started last February 23 this year, and my permanent resident application started Last March 17. Last April, update was that my medical has been received. I guess then we have to wait for both process to get approval, I just hope not that too long as you say.He is in Canada and I am in Philippines.

My friend last 2013, without any representative had their application processed for 7 months. Fingers crossed we can have the same timeline. ;D
