Sponsorship or visitor visa? help needed please

Hi Everyone,

I have been reading this forum for pass weeks and everyone is so nice and helpful, please continue the good work. However i have an issue i need you guys to shed some light on as im abit frustrated at the moment.

I am on a WP which will be expiring in march 28,2015 my girlfriend and i will be getting marry on feb 25th and right away we are thinking to start our sponsorship application so my question is:

Is it ok to file a sponsorship application so close after our marriage or i should apply for a visiting visa first then file for my PR? :'(

Only PRs/Citizens can file sponsorship applications.

Having the TRV BEFORE you get married is the safest and more reliable way to get approved.
