Sponsorship of US wife after her Work Permit related ONE year ban is over

Good evening,

My wife was given a one year ban from Canada last year after coming to Canada (by land) and not having a work permit (with the intention of working). The ban will soon come to an end. (End of November 2013).

My question is the following : Will this affect in any way our sponsorship application that we plan on filing mid-december 2013 ? I dont believe there are any places on the applications (mine or hers) that let us include this information showing them our commitment to honesty.

FYI - My sponsorship application is 110% legit. Been together for 4 years and got married Summer 2013 after being engaged for 1 year. We dont have criminal records and her medical tests should be fine. I am a Canadian citizen (born in Canada).

There is something in one of the application forms for her that ask if she has ever been refused entry into Canada. That is where you will need to put that information. I can't remember which form exactly, but it is there.

It would be under IMM5669 6. e) been refused admission to, ordered to leave, Canada or any other country.
