Hello, my husband and I got married 2 months ago and we want to send an application for sponsorship but not sure if to apply from outside or inside Canada. Will I be able to live in Canada while my application is processed (from outside Canada) or will I have to reside in the country which I'm applying from. We want our application to be processed faster but don't want to be apart for too long. (We have been in a relationship where I live in my country and he in Canada for almost 3 years). Please give us an advice and more information because it is not clear to us, thank you :)

Depending on where you're from. I believe it matters if you apply inland vs outland.
Ex. I'm from the US and we're able to apply outland since I'm here on a legal study visa.
BUT.. I'd wait on deciding inland vs outland because they just updated the forms and I'm not seeing the separate forms for either now. I'm on the phone with CIC right now regarding the issue and inquiring if there is a difference.

They have a new form, instead of outland or inland, it just asks if you're in Canada or not. I'm still getting everything together though and wondering what to do...as I was going to do outland and it doesn't seem to matter now!
