Hello to all here!

I am a Canadian living in Greece for a few years now. I still do my taxes in Canada and I also still have an address there as well. I am curious to know if I should sponsor my wife as a Canadian living in Canada, or living abroad.

Thank you, and best of luck to all!

It's very simple. If you have been living in Greece for 2 years, then you are living abroad. I assume when you do Canadian taxes, it is as a non-resident.

I'm not sure really. My accountant handles my taxes in Canada. I'm assuming as a non-resident.

You can only use the "within Canada" method if BOTH you and your wife are currently in Canada. If one or both of you is currently outside of Canada - then the outside of Canada process is your only option.
