hi there, is soo good to see there are a lot of ppl in the same situation as u are a better yet, so many others willing to help.
Im new at this, but im so worried abot my case that i feel i dont have any one to turn to. i left canada after my refugee claim was denied, im sure I got a departure order and I presented myself to the port of exit in the airport. two months later my husband who is a canadian citizen and I applied for sponsorship, that was in june 2011 and all I know i that the CIC already has my medical exams. i have been sending them faxes asking why is this taking so long or if there is something wrong but no reply. my husband and I are worried bc now I found out I may need to apply for ARC, is this true? we dont know what to do now,

If you need ARC, it will be considered in the context of your spousal application, it is not something you fill out a form to apply for. The visa office will advise you and your sponsor what is required of you when they reach that point in reviewing your application. You should expect your case to take a while to be reviewed, it might even take longer than the usual timeline for spousal applications, depending on your visa office. You're at about 8 months now, depending on what office you are processing through, you should really dig in for the long haul, don't expect them to communicate with you until they are ready.
