I am Canadian and have lived in the US for the last 20 years with my US husband. We are applying for processing outside of Canada for his permanent residency. I am completing the Sponsorship Evaluation and have listed my US jobs for the last 5 years and income. Do I need to include an orginal Option-C printout from the Canadian Revenue Agency? I haven't had Canadian revenue in 22 years!

Also do I need to prove my US employment - what do they require for evidence? Check stubs? Copies of W2s?

TY

No, you don't need a C-printout in your case :) I don't think you need to prove your employment in the US at all. You can give them your last US tax printout but for spousal sponsorship, you can not be denied because of income anyway.

yes right since you were living 20 years in us why would you need option C printout all you will need is ur us tax printout :

Hi Poisonive,
I called CIC about this exact thing because I have been working overseas for the last 6 years and wasn't sure what to do about the Option C Printout. The information officer I got through to at CIC said to write N/A and to explain on a separate piece of paper.
