Only family class and does not include parental applications. The skilled worker category looks worse, but not for long, as they are about to toss all of the older applications in the trash.

Wow that would mean all these people have to start over? What is the situation with grand parents? Are they gonna toss all those as well?

As far as I know the parent (not grand parent) class just stopped accepting new apps while they clear the huge backlog. Yes, most of the ones that are being cancelled from the worker category will have to start over. That was in the recently-passed budget.

People, I wouldn't read too much into these stats and stress yourselves out. There are many people who jump right past the people waiting in the queue because they put together good applications and their personal circumstances make them easier to approve in the early rounds. It's not like there are 3000-5000 apps sitting there waiting to be opened. Most are stalled for one reason or another, such as waiting for an interview or document, etc. It just would be nice if CIC applied their human and financial resources in such a way that there was not such a wide disparity in average processing times between centres.

woooow and i thought Abu-Dhabi should have huge backlog since their processing time is 25 months :o :o :o and they just have a queue of 606 files!!!!!!!!!! hmm wonder what they r doing; it looks like they don't give much priority to this class ::) :-X :-\

Mexico isn't too bad. But this is five months old. When will they release they new numbers? Where did you find this?

has anybody got the stats for 2013?
