sponsorship appeal got denied and banned for 5 years

Hello,
My friend has been trying to sponsor her husband in Nigeria to Canada since 2007... their first application was denied because the visa officer did not believe it's a genuine marriage, my friend appealed and the appeal was allowed... however, the application denied again because the visa officer found out his misrepresentation in the application.... my friend tried to appeal based on HC but no luck this time....

The case was denied in 2011, and the last appeal was dismissed in 2014... he is banned for 5 years... Now my friend want to restart the application from scratch but not sure if she can apply now or need to wait until 2019...

She needs to wait until the ban has expired. Any application submitted before then will be rejected.

If your friend is "Helen", I suspect that she is going to have significant problems getting a sponsorship approved even after the ban ends.

Husband can never be sponsored ever. He will need to enter Canada through a skilled workstream
