hi,
This has been a very complicated situation for us.
I applied for my spouse sponsorship on 1st feb nd the file was transferred to islam
abad pakistan for further processing on 21st feb 2013.no reply from cic since then. :(

Now husband was willing to study in canada n applied for admission in MINT program at university of alberta.
He has been accepted and issued the visa as well.

Now our concerns are if he moves to canada for study purpose on a student visa,
What happens to the sponsorship file..will they move the file to canada and restart
The process as inland application?
Or will continue the same application from outside canada.

secondly, many people are advising us to not use our pocket money for study
But rather start studying aftrr becoming a pr on scholarship or bursaries or govt loans.
We dont want to waste any time, but if its actually gonna save our money thn we can giv a shot.
what do u advice?

It is not possible to switch a spousal sponsorship application from outland to inland. Your husband's application will continue to be processed through Islamabad as an outland application even if he comes to Canada on a study permit.

Thanks alot,that was very helpful.
And what do u suggest abt studying by pocket.is it a good idea

I don't understand what "studing by pocket" means.

If you are asking about paying for the education yourself - then you should expect to have to pay for the education yourself whether your husband is a PR or not (there are limited scholarships available and if you take out a loan - you'll eventually have to pay it back). The difference is that you will pay less tuition once your husband is a PR. What you end up doing is your choice.
