sponsors questionaire question

One of the questions ask "has your spouse met any close friends/family?"

My sponsor is my second cousin, so obviously my spouse he has met my dad since it is his nephews son, SO what should I put the date when he met him? Do i just put the date when my father KNEW about our relationship and saw him, or the date HE KNEW my spouse.

I'd put the real date, perhaps explaining this in a free form section where appropriate.
