Hi i have question regarding spouse sponsorship.

Im a 27 year old citizen been here since high school, about to get married to a girl in Pakistan next month; im Pakistani by birth.

Im just finishing up my studies, in the last year, i do have a part time job and i tutor for financial support, since all my pay is cash, there is no T4, i am wondering should i show a high income or regular income on taxes? Would income be any benefit for sponsoring my spouse. And i am still a student would that make any negative impact on the sponsorship?

And what can I do to strenghten my application?
What information should be collecting while in Pakistan during the wedding ceremony?
any useful tips would be greatly appreciated

You could have zero income and still apply for sponsorship. Although make sure you state your plans clearly to CIC.

In regards to your "cash" work. CIC will ask you for Notice of Assessment so just report whatever you have on Notice of Assessment. No need to include cash amount. Again, low income won't have negative impact on the outcome of your case.

Lastly, proof, proof and more proof. The more proof you have the stronger your case will be. Make sure you do nikkah and rukhsati. Some people have had success with Nikkah only case but it is still risky. So just do the complete marriage. Have pictures for all the occassions, receipts, invitation card, anything you can collect.

Hope this helps and best of luck!!
