Sponsoring parents while on mat leave

Hi all!

I was selected to sponsor my parents in 2018 draw and have started with application forms already.
In the form IMM 5768 I am supposed to provide my current employment status and history. Right now I am on maternity leave - is it considered as I am employed? And for the employment history table do I suppose to put separate line for maternity leave or just put the name of my current employer?

You should put maternity leave because you are not actually working. Not considered unemployed but on leave from your job.
