Sponsoring my parents - IMM1283 help

Hi guys. I have a few questions regarding the Financial Evaluation (IMM1283) form.

I'd like to sponsor my parents and my niece, but I'm confused with the "number of family members and persons included in undertakings in effect and not yet in effect" section and I'd like some help confirming the numbers I put.

So far I have 2. You - 1 and 3. A) Currently undertaking - 3

(I have not sponsored anyone before, so do I leave "Previous undertakings" blank?)

I have a husband, so I put a 1 in the "5. Your spouse or common-law partner, if not included in 3 above" box. I also have two children, so I put a 2 in the "6. Every other family member" box. Therefore, the total should be 7. Do you guys agree with me so far?

My last question is about the next page (question 11) where they ask me to fill the "from" and "to" box. Do they want me to write down the date of which I started working for my employer and the date of application? (ex. From 2004/04/04 to 2012/04/11) or is it the date 12 months before I filled the application and the date of application (ex. From 2011/04/11 to 2012/04/11)?

Unfortunately you can't sponsor your parents. Applications to sponsor parents are not being accepted at this time. See the second yellow box on this page of the CIC site:

Note: As of November 5, 2011, no new applications to sponsor parents or grandparents will be accepted for processing for up to 24 months. This temporary pause will allow us to focus on those applicants already awaiting a decision and reduce the backlog in the parents and grandparents category. This does not affect sponsorship applications for spouses, partners, dependent or adopted children and other eligible relatives. New applications received on or after November 5, 2011, will be returned to the applicant, including fees.
