Hi, I am Canadian, and my daughter is also Caanadian. We both live in Hong Kong. Can I sponsor my husband to become Canadian while we are living in Hong Kong ? Or do we need to move to Canada for this application? If we need to live in Canada, how many month of income do I need to show I have in Canada? As both of us live and work in HK right now and planning to moving to Canada within 1-2 years.

Since you are Canadian, you can sponsor your husband while living in Hong Kong. But you must provide to IRCC you plans on how/when your family will move to Canada and how your family will make a living (i.e. how will you get a job? do you have savings to hold you over when you first move? will you have assistance from any family in Canada while you transition? etc).
