hi
im sponsoring my husband from UAE... i just have a question
1. in the second part of the application (immigration part) it says to attach photos of all family members whether they are accompanying you to canada or not which are included in the application. my child and I are already canadian citizens, do we attach our photos as well?
2. if a document if required in both parts of the application, do i need to attach two copies or a single copy is enough?

1. No.
2. No. Both parts of the application are sent to the case processing centre in Mississauga, so they'll take care of it.

I am being sponsored by my wife who is a Canadian citizen. Does she need to attach her Canadian passport copy with notary public stamp also?

The document checklist has a list of the papers the sponsor need to provide.

I know the list. I am asking if Canadian passport copy also need to be nortarized?

It doesn't say so explicitly, so my guess would be no. What does your country specific checklist say?

My guess would be that it doesn't have to be notarised, but there's no harm in hedging your bets...

Hi,

Notarizing or attesting copies of certification, document, passport or ID are not compulsory if it is not specified in the check list. But there is nothing wrong if you do it so, for which you have to spend some money.
