Hi Everyone!
I am currently living in Canada but originally am from Europe. I have been looking for jobs for quite a long time as a foreign worker (I am on a visitor visa here. My fiancé is Canadian and we are planning to get married soon.) The scenario is always the same. I receive daily email notifications from job search sites, I apply for the job, the call me back because they really like my resume but after they find out that I need a work permit they back off. I got lucky one time and found a company that was ready to go through the LMO process but after waiting months for the labour opinion it was denied
The reason that Service Canada gave us was that the company didnt advertise the job long enough.
So my question is: how can I find a company that is specialized in hiring foreign workers if there is such? To be honest, after so many attempts and denials I am considering to return to Europe... that is the last thing I want to do though. I am willing to relocate as well if needed, I know it would not be ideal, but better see my fiance on weekends than only every couple of months if I came this far to be with him. As mentioned above we will get married soon but it is another year from applying for the PR till I can actually start to work.
Any ideas please share.
