Sponsoring a spouse with a dependent child

Hello Everyone,

Just want to clear something - there is no income requirement to sponsor a spouse with a dependent child under 18 and in full custody of previous spouse?

If that's the case then if a sponsor shows some savings and is employed full-time (regardless of the salary amount) things should be fine?

Any other advice for sponsor requirements will be greatly appreciated!

If you're in Quebec, I'm sure that there's no financial requirements, otherwise you need to check the guide and required document list. In any case, I think it would not harm to include your employment letter or tax assessement if you're employed.
