So, I am a Canadian and I married my girlfriend who was on working permit visa in Canada (got the Marriage Registration done). However, since most of my family is in Asia, my parents wishes for us to do a party in Asia, so we're planning to go in 3 weeks.

My spouse now quit working (because we are going to be in Asia for 3 months, she can't leave the job so she let it go) while her working visa still valid until next year, but her visitor visa expired.

I wishes to sponsor her, do you think it is wise to do it now? I just wondering how will she come back into Canada, can she still apply for a visitor visa from Asia using her worker permit?

Please help and advise what should I do. Thanks.

why do you think she needs a visitor visa if she already has a work permit? am confused

its because she no longer working on the company mentioned on her working permit. Will it gonna be a problem when she enter canada with her visitor visa stating that she is a worker but she is no longer working?

it could be a problem as they can request a letter confirmation from employer
