Sponsoring A biological child born outside after becoming a PR.

Dear loving guys:

One think just has clicked in my mind before launching my sponsorship appl for my eldest kid (15 yrs old) to be sponsored, for sponsoring the spouse or kids is minimum income requirement is really an issue or concern from Canadian Immigration's stand point? I mean, do I have to wait until I reach that income threshold or even I apply will by application will be declined just because of this?

there is no minimum income requirement for sponsoring a spouse or a child, so there is no "income threshold" for this type of application.

IRCC will want to see how you intend to support your child/spouse without needing to go on welfare. there are many ways a sponsor can show this in their application, if it's required.

By indicating "going on welfare", do you mean If the kids are here and become PR, I can't apply for them as recipients of CCB & or OCB?

The 'child benefit' from the government is not welfare, so you can apply for it for your children. Welfare is what you get when you do not have a job, do not have employment insurance, and have no way to support yourself.
