My american husband has a daughter that is 20 and is a specialist in the US Navy and is not dependent on us at all. So when doing the paperwork I assumed that since she is not a dependent and is considered property of the US govt for the several yrs, that she would not be included in our application. Now after reading this fprum, I am wondering if this is correct. Also, in asking for copies of her military stuff, she says she is not allowed to send anything or have anything copied according to the commander...so maybe it goes against military ruled to be on immigration forms for another country? Should I just state this on our application? I want to get our application sent off as we have done the fbi check etc but not sure what to do about her. I can't find anything when I search this on the internet. Anyone here have a similiar situation?
