Sponsored Spouse/Partner Questionnaire [IMM 5490] - Can Sponsor Fill Out Form

Hello everyone, I tried to search for the answer before posting this question but there wasn't anything clear and concise.

Can I, the sponsor, help my spouse fill out the form then sign at the bottom as the translator or do we actually have to go through a certified translator?

You can help your spouse fill out the forms. Just make sure that your spouse is aware of exactly what it says. The danger of having someone else fill out the forms is when the person signing isn't aware of what claims he or she supposedly made. This is deadly if it comes to an interview.
