sponsored not approved but got a medical request

hi guys. I hope somebody can enlighten me here. how come we don't have any news yet if my husband has been approve as a sponsor. our application was received 04-17-2013 and cic just sent me a letter asking for medical and police clearance already. and I don't know if I have aip also. is this normal or should I ask help from a lawyer to find out whats happening?

is my AIP in pending until they received my medical and police clearance? they are also asking for statutory declaration form and background declaration form?

As I said in the other thread there is probably an issue with the forms they are requesting again. That is likely what is holding up Aip. If they've also asked for medicals and police cert then I would guess the issues with the forms are not major. That is only a guess though.

No worries. Did they mention any specific to the docs they requested again? Or just ask for them to be resent?

no they just ask to resend the background declaration and because we did not attach any statutory declaration form. im just worried that they will transfer our file without AIP and I heard a lot of people that's been in this kind of situation where VO cant decide if relationship is genuine or not.

They are probably requesting the in for so they can decided on him as a sponsor. I did a mistake of sending a photo copies of one of the applications instead of the original and they need original because of the signature and they sent the whole thing back. Because there job is to also Make sure all the info is there. As soon as u send them what they want u will see right after I bet if he can sponsor you or not is the file still with CIC or is it at the VO

They asked me to redo my background form because I had written the date I signed the form as the date up to which i had applied. They made me reprint it and present in pen in those boxes. May be something as insignificant as that. You'll only know once you've sent it off.

I have printed the form and handwritten everything.. Im thinking it might be old form that i used...

Im printing it today and send it out and see whats going to happen...
