Hello,

I've been living in canada for 1 year with a work and study permit . I’m going home to visit my family and I will apply for a common-law status with my boyfriend. Is it possible for me to sponsor him with my work permit?

No - this won't work. You would need to get married.

You can't apply for common law status. Common law status is something you become once you have lived together continuously for at least one year. If you were already common law at the time that you applied for the study permit, then your partner should have been declared in your application.
