Hi,
I am moving to Alberta in September with a Temporary Work Permit (skilled worker) of 1 year and with my partner that will enter as a visitor. My partner will apply for an Open Work Permit (using my work permit as a sponsor) once we are in Alberta as only then we'll be able to prove that we have been living for a year together. She is 2 months pregnant and we intend to mention that in her application and have the baby in Canada. I read many opinions but if you could reply my questions based on knowledge/experiences/facts:
1- Is it possible that my partner gets denied entry to Canada in the Port of Entry (we'll be travelling together)?
2- Does the fact she is pregnant changes anything for her application to be approved (we´ll be fullfilling the requirements for a common-law at the time of application)?
Looking forward to you replies.
Many thanks
