Sponsor Questionnaire

We are sending our application out on Friday this week, and as I am going over everything I came up with a few more questions and just wanted to double check if anyone had any advice.

For questions 13 and 14 on the sponsor questionnaire...

13.Do you friends know about your relationship. Yes or No.
Does the box available only need to be filled out if the answer is no?

14. Have they met your family... And the only option is no. So the box is to be left blank if it is a yes?


And for the Generic Application form for my husband...

Question 3. How many family members including you are in this application? Would I answer 2 because my my husband fills out information about me? He has no dependents.

14- Hmm, i thought there was yes or no, when I filled mine, anyways you can write in the explaination, that yes they know. or leave it blank if it is Yes.

-When my husband put 2 in that section it won't validate... it says The number of clients on the application does not match how many family members, including you, that you indicated in question 3 of the Application Details section.You have indicated 2 family members, including you, are to be included in this application. Please enter personal information for all clients, including you.

2. there is a box for "yes" underneath the space to write an explanation for no. if your answer is "yes" you need to tick off the yes box and provide names, dates and the relationship to your sponsor of the people you've met.

3. where they say "family" on the forms they mean only people applying for PR, so you and any dependents. The sponsor would only be your dependant if he/she was applying for PR with you. your answer to question 3 is one. you are the only person on the application.

3- when I filled out the forms, you have to add your spouse as well as it says in the instruction it must be included. So I entered 1 also, but it wouldn't validate. I validated when I put 2

if your spouse is the sponsor their information shouldn't be included on the generic application form as a dependant. they are included under question 13 where it asks for marital status, but that's all. making the answer 1 not 2. the instructions say to include any *family members whether they are accompanying you to canada or not, but family members as a definition to CIC is a spouse not already in canada as a citizen or PR and dependents.

I can't say why your forms validated at 2 if you only listed your information and no dependants. just another CIC/Adobe mystery.

yea it didn't validate, it validated at 2. lets see what happens

The sponsor IS NOT included in the count for IMM0008 question 3. Your answer is 1.
