Sponsor Parents + InLaws (2019?)

Hello.

I used this forum extensively to get my PR done back in 2014/2015. I am hoping this forum will be helpful again.

I just came back from an India visit and now I am contemplating applying for sponsorship for my parents as well as my wife's parents.
Me+Wife+2 kids are here since 3 years (one of the kids was born here).

I will be preparing to apply for Citizenship in the next few months. I have done all due diligent reading on CIC website.

1. From what I understand, wife has to apply for her parents and I have to apply for mine? We both can co-sign each other application? We both meet financial obligations individually, however, since wife was on Mat Leave last year, he income goes below required level for that year hence I think I will have to co-sign her parents app.

2. Right now, CIC website says "window to express interest" has closed on 1st Feb 2018. When does this window open again? Is there a pre set date or you just have to keep checking over and over?

3. What should I have ready for when they open this window?

1. Yes, you can cosign each other's apps. You will need income for 8 people.

2. Jan 1st, 2019.

3. Nothing. You only start preparing if you get chosen from the lottery.
