Hello Everyone!
We're at the start of our sponsorship adventure! I am a dual British Canadian citizen (born and raised in the U.K., and Canadian by descent). I have never lived in Canada before, and I want to sponsor my Common-Law Partner. Per all the eligibility criteria, as a Canadian citizen I should be ok to sponsor. But I'm worried because the forms all seem to refer to my 'return' or 'restablishment' in Canada. I plan on moving there once the application is approved, but does anyone know if the fact I've never lived in Canada will make me ineligible?
I've visited several times, and have family there.
Thanks, I appreciate any responses!
Inga
