Sponsor my kid for permanent resident, do I need fill out representative form?

I am permanent resident and would like to sponsor my son who is only 1 month, but he is not Canadian citizen.

Do I need to choose myself or my wife as a representative? Especially as for signature in application forms, I guess I should sign on behave of him, but I don't know if I should put myself as a representative

One more question is when signing on behave of my son, what format should I follow? my sons name + my name?

no one needs to be seperate representative you as a sponsor can also sign papers of your kid.I prefer you to be sponsor so that your wife can stay with kid during this lengthy process since sponsor needs to stay in canada for the entire duration
