Hi everyone, please if there anyone could help. My husband and I been live in England for 15 years, and now want to spend rest of life in Canada. I am Canadian citizens and want to apply a sponsorship for my husband, once I go through the forms they need a option C print out for proof my sponsor, but I don't have it because so far I was a non resident status in Canada. So what can I do? Please kindly help

it should state in the instruction guide that an option c is not required if the sponsor has lived outside of canada or to provide a letter of explanation if one is not available. since you have not lived in canada, paid taxes, filed for bankruptcy or welfare in canada in the past 12 months, then it is not required. you can submit a letter of explanation that says you've been living outside of canada for x years.

it's very important to read the guides very carefully, slowly and more than once. there are straightforward answers in there that are easy to miss.

Simple provide an explanation letter and technically you also declare you were outside Canada. So they know it. However, you need to prove you have intention of returning to Canada.
