Sponsor Mother under "Sponsoring Member of the Family Class"

Hi all,

I am a single Canadian, and only mother is living. Father passed away a couple years ago.
My mother is turning to an older age and she is starting to have difficulty taking care of herself. She is also living by herself in a country where public safety is degrading day by day

I am wondering if I can sponsor her under the "Sponsor a Member of the Family Class".

I obviously tried to do that over the PGP 2019, but that was a joke and so I was not able to submit my form.

I appreciate your help on this topic.

Unfortunately, the only way to sponsor your mother is through the parent and grandparent class. Parents do not qualify for the "Lonely Canadian" rule.

Parents & Grandparents are a part of the Family Class, they just have a different process you have to follow.
