Sponsor Last Name Change?

Hi
I am sponsoring my husband and was wondering if I should wait to change my last name until after my husband is approved or if I could go ahead and change it now? we have SA. My passport will need to be renewed this tyear so I wanted to try to get it renewed under my new last name. Can anyone tell me about their exoerience? Could it slow things down?

Go ahead and change it. It shouldn't slow anything down. MAYBE if you were the principal applicant it might.
