Very Urgent:
I am a Canadian lady married to an Egyptian man and I am planning on sponsoring my husband to come with me to Canada. We would like to know what documents we will need to have filled out for this process. Please is there anyone with this experience or knows exactly what we have to do and is there anyone who has sent the whole file to Mississauga recently.

yes you need lot of stuff to send your application to mississauga such as
marriage certificate
proof of relationship before marriage and after marriage
proofs to show that marriage is genuine
tickets and visas showing your visit to meet each other
lot of photographs of both of you and with friends and family over the period you are in relationship
photographs of marriage
fees $1040 total
option-c printout from CRA for sponsor
reference letter from friends and family
proof of place to live in canada (home, rental apartment or letter from parents or friends stating that you can live with them for few months after getting his PR)
police clearance certificate for your husband from each country where he lived more than 6 months after age of 18
medical certificate (they have a list of doctors for each country on CIC website)
police clearance and medical certificate should not be more than 3 month old, when you send your application to CIC
and application forms for both of you
photos of your husband (depends on his country he needs 6 or 8, check checklist for his country)
copy of passport
if you need any other help ask us
best of luck

Thank You so much for your information but I have one question: What is Option - C printout from CRA for sponsor?

you are most welcome. if you have filed taxes for past years you can call CRA and ask them to send option-c. if you did not file taxes for last few years, you can send one cover letter explaining why didnt you send option-c with substitute documents such as interest income from saving or investment, other income proof like rental income, business income for last preceding 12 months.

Thank You so much again, I am in Egypt right now and planning to file the documents next week but at same time I filed my taxes last month and have them with me, will that be satisfactory the immigration office or can it work as Option - C. Thank you for your help!

option-c is something different than tax forms, cic doesnt want to see your tax forms but option-c printout. which has everything about your life in canada such as address, marital status, govt benefits and everything else. if you are outside canada you need to give proof for your return to canada after your husband receives his PR like arranged house, rental agreement, job offer, admission in university etc.

Hi Bettycamus

I'm presently working also on my application. I'm from Ottawa and my hubby from Egypt.
You can contact me via my email (see my profile) if you want. We could help each other in this long and stressful procedure.

Send it as is with the copies to your sponsor, the ministry has already done that
