Hello,

My application is completely filled out and ready to be sent - Family class sponsorship. I the sponsor in Canada, will be sponsoring my American wife. as far as I understand it, finances aren't a big concern for this particular scenario. Eg, I don't need to be rich.

My questions are really quite simple.

First, on the application it asks for my net income in a 1 year period up to the application time. I do not know my exact net income. I used an approximate guess. Is this suffice?
Second, because I could not answer this until after everything was printed... I had to write that spot in by hand, and initial/date beside the hand written part. Is this ok??

Thank you.

It should be fine, however, did you not get your Option C printout? That should have all of your information needed.

not for 2013 no, my taxes for that year are not through yet. I gave them my 2012 option C instead

If your income or job hasn't changed much, then you can indeed give them a best guess number. I would also include a note with that form that states this is a best guess estimate based on your previous years income blah blah blah. It should be perfectly acceptable.
