Sponsor child inland formalities

Hello everyone!

I was wondering if there is an option to sponsor a dependent child born in UAE. Husband and I are PR holders, could we move to Toronto and then begin sponsorship formalities?
Can the baby come along on a visit visa?TRV?

There is no inland sponsorship for a child. One of you must return and be living in Canada throughout the process to sponsor the child. You could try for a TRV, or if refused, a TRP, but if both are refused, the child will have to remain outside Canada until PR is approved.
