after my envelope goes to CIC how many days do ı have to waıt tıll ı take my S.A?a frıend of mıne saıd me she send her envelope they receıved ıt at 11.4 and yet the cıc ıs lookıng the applıcatıons of 4.4 :((why they delay lıke thıs?

Right now sponsorship approval is taking 47 days and they are currently looking at applications received April 4th (as your friend said).

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm-fc.asp

Because CIC receives so many applications, they aren't looked at immediately and instead go in a queue. This is why CIC is only now looking at applications from April 4th.

This is how the Mississauga portion has always worked - it's not something new or recent. So your procedure won't be delayed - what you are seeing is the normal procedure.

It is difficult, however its not impossible, why not try it?

He should have:

-proof that he owns a house, car, business (doesn't need all 3, but having one of them will help)
-extensive travel history, not just travelled to 1 country in his life and that's it
-lots of money in bank, at least $1000/week he plans to stay in CAnada
-a letter from you saying he will live with you, you will take care of all his expenses
-little to no family/relatives living in Canada
-lots of family/relatives living in Turkey
-a good job that he has worked at for a long time
-a letter from his employer saying he will return to his job after leaving Canada
-a detailed plan of what he wants to do when he come to Canada, dont just say he's going to just visit you and that's it, give details where you will go, if you will take any road trips, etc

Then in that case, you should probably go visit him often, maybe every 6 months or so.

It's $1600 for a round trip ticket. You could just live with him in his house, so no hotel expenses. You only need to see him for a month or so every 6 months. If you both work and combine your finances, as you should being a married couple, it shouldn't be a problem to afford to go. As a last resort, you could always use a line of credit to fund your trip, or work a second job. At least that's what I did when I came to Vietnam last year, in which I got married, had to pay for an entire wedding on my own (as my wife wasn't working that time), paid for 2 honeymoons, one of which involved travelling to another country for a week, and I stayed for a total of 2 months.

You know how I managed to pay all that? I worked a second job for 8 months in the evenings. I basically had 10 months after coming back from Vietnam the previous time, to save up enough money to pay for a wedding and last me 2 months overseas, while still having enough money to pay off my mortgage for 2 months while away. Keep in mind, my salary was fairly modest at the time, only $52,000 a year, my second job gave me an extra $700 every 2 weeks after tax. I lived with my wife so I didn't have to pay any hotel expenses, she basically drove me everywhere so I didn't have to pay for a taxi, so that reduced my expenses a lot.

It sucks to work an extra job to save up to go see your spouse, but you have to ask yourself what's more important to you.

My finances are kind of tight at the moment, but I'm still planning on taking a trip to Europe with my wife late this year, for 3 weeks, then take 1 week in Vietnam. Might have to draw on my line of credit for this trip, but I love her and want to spend time with her no matter what. Well at least this time, she's making really good money now and has a good job, so that will help me a lot this time :D

Mikey, she lives in Turkey with her hubby, based on previous posts. She has never lived in Canada, I'm guessing 1st generation abroad citizen.
