My wife and I just got confirmation that we both are eligible for the Sponsorship Program. It was a simple email saying that she's approved to be my sponsor and, I was approved to be sponsored. Can someone share timelines after these acknowledgments? What are the next steps now?
At the same time, I would like to ask what document do I need to apply to be able to travel and come back to Canada. I am currently under the worker status with an open work permit. We've been wanting to go on our honey-moon but I do not have the possibility to re-enter the country.
