Spelling mistake in father's name of child passport

Hi All,

I have applied for work permit visa for Canada along with visiting visa for my wife and child. My child is 3 years old. In my child's passport, middle name of father's name has small spelling mistake . The birth certificate also had the same issue that's why passport's father name have this issue. But birth certificate later we corrected.
I already submitted all documents and waiting for update from Canada team. I have below questions,

1 . Is this a problem ? Will the VISA rejected ?If yes , will it be rejected for every one?
2. I have already done medical for everyone, and submitted all application. If i raise request to correct father name in child's passport, then they will issue new passport. So do i need to take medical again and submit all documents again with new passport number ?

Not sure about this. post at foreign workers section of the forum. This is not family sponsorship.
You are applying visitor visa for them. So they need strong tie of their home country.
Do not think you need to redo medical for a minor update of passport but you will need to update your application if child has a new passport.
